About
I can’t remember the exact date I came up with this name. I do remember the circumstances.
I had cooked a meal that my family didn’t find as delicious as I did. They were making their usual remarks, and I moaned about how I have to do all the work, every day, and my critics are always at the table. Worse. They live with me!
Like a chef, I get to cook every day. Like a chef, my meals undergo criticism. But I don’t get paid for it.
This blog is not a place for me to grumble, it’s a place for other unpaid chefs like me to gather inspiration for their job. I like to cook. I like to try out recipes, and there ’s no better payment for me than for my family and guests to tuck into a meal with delight, thoroughly enjoying the fruit of my labors.
Mama, this is my favorite supper, ever!
Darling, is there any left in the pot?
Mmmm… this is good….
An empty pot or dish.
Enjoy perusing through my recipes and feel free to share your modifications.
